Josh Blaylock

Josh Blaylock

Josh’s relationship with cameras began in Hollywood where he spent over eight years in front of the camera, landing roles on sets ranging from prime time series to the academy award winning film “No Country For Old Men”. But he found his true love when he stepped behind the camera.

With a keen eye for composition, and a deep understanding of lighting, Josh knows how to take a concept and bring it to life. He has a reputation for creating a relaxed atmosphere on set that lets the creativity flow, while directing the production to the final goal of creating eye catching imagery and delivering above and beyond expectations. His photography background has made for an easy transition into the motion world, as he takes that same enthusiasm to create excitement and drama in every moving frame. To Josh, food always has a story to tell, and his lens is his tool to share it.

In 2012, Josh defeated the Helter Swelter hot wing challenge, winning a t shirt and a stomach ache.. he’s still waiting to receive his shirt.

April Kirby

April Kirby

Based in Dallas, Texas, April Kirby has spent years honing her creative expertise as a visual storyteller. She first picked up a camera in middle school and has been obsessed with it’s magical capabilities ever since.

A believer that great filmmakers are collectors of emotions, sounds, environments and moments, April views her work as a director as guiding others in telling their own stories. Keeping a keen eye on the intricate details of a story, she collaborates with her subjects to tell narratives that naturally encapsulate the common human experience.

April loves traveling to distant places across the globe and experiencing new things, but never says no to a cold craft beer and karaoke night.

Amos David McKay

Amos David McKay

With nearly two decades of agency experience as a CD/AD at places like The Martin Agency, BBDO and Slingshot, overlapped with a decade’s worth of film and commercial directing experience, Amos David McKay brings two brains to every shoot. Not only concerned with nailing look and story, he also carefully considers how every choice fits into a brand’s larger narrative, who will be receiving the message and how it will be received. Adding design, edit and motion skills, his approach to making films is visually charged and uniquely well rounded.

For McKay, preparation is everything. From meticulous boards to laborious casting, location scouting, and wardrobe and prop picking, his feeling is that when he walks on set, everything should fall perfectly into place. This, he says, allows him to go beyond the plan and get more fun stuff.

He also loves neon. Please let him use neon.

Ben Tedesco

Ben Tedesco

Ben Tedesco’s journey to becoming a director was filled with unique, seemingly disconnected stops along the way. From pre-med and tourism classes, to writing and directing his own Kung Fu movie, Tedesco instinctively followed his childhood vision, landing him at Cannes with a directing award in hand.

Tedesco’s passion for emotional storytelling, deep knowledge of all-things production, and not-so-disconnected life experiences fuel his creative approach to directing. Always the student, he studies his characters to ensure each performance comes across as authentic as possible. His love for the process of layering all the different aspects of production elevates his vision of the client’s message. Tedesco brings his personal investment and spirit to every project for top-tier clients such as Chevrolet, Guinness, Heidi Klum Intimates and Purina. He’s currently shopping a historical mini-series that’s been two years in the making.

If you need him, he’s most likely in his kitchen, training to be the next Iron Chef.
